My name is Manzoor Billoo and I was born in the Himalayan valley of Kashmir.  My first trek was with my Dad when I was eleven years old and I fell in love with the mountains and have been trekking ever since.  In my early trekking days I worked with overseas trekking companies as a guide and I then started my own trekking company, Snow Leopard Expeditions (based in Kashmir) in 1992.

I am now an Australian citizen.  I married Jill in 1998.  Jill is a seasoned travelling and has visited India numerous times, including working as a volunteer in India for the Ryder-Cheshire Homes in Dehra Dun.  We now have the best of both worlds travelling between India and Australia.  We also have our own home in Kashmir which we run as a guesthouse and base for Snow Leopard Expeditions.

Over my long trekking career I have had the pleasure of leading people from all over the world through the Indian Himalayas.  Every trek that I lead I ensure is as memorable, exciting and safe as possible for my customers.  I use the best equipment and employ experienced local staff, including cooks, horsemen, porters and guides who are all as enthusiastic as I am.  My staff are well paid and consequently. I have been using the same staff over a long period of time.  All our treks are eco friendly.

Snow Leopard Expeditions is a specialist adventure company and organizes treks, high altitude treks, mountaineering, expeditions and skiing.

I have repeat customers from all over the world including Canada, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Australia and have made good and lasting friendships.

I have a passion for what I do and my main priority is that my customers come first and I want to pass onto them my love of the Himalayas.
